The Garlington Foundation Begins
Hello there! Just thought I’d pop in for a minute to introduce The Garlington Foundation! When The Garlington Foundation was created during the height of the pandemic, it was not born out of chance or circumstance. It came from a place of calling. For me, service has always been more than a choice. It has been a part of who I am, a reflection of the values, experiences, and faith that shaped my life long before this organization existed.
Over the past few years, The Garlington Foundation has been in a season I call spiritual preparation. It has been a time to listen, to build quietly, and to make sure every step we take is rooted in purpose. That preparation was not about waiting. It was about strengthening the vision, the heart, and the systems that will allow us to serve with excellence and authenticity.
Now that season of preparation is giving way to movement. The Foundation is beginning its first steps into active engagement and community service. Our initial focus will include recuperative care, case coordination, and community support services. Each effort is guided by compassion, integrity, and the belief that healing begins when people feel seen, supported, and valued.
This new chapter is more than an operational milestone. It is a spiritual continuation of what has always lived within me: the vision and heart to serve others. It is the expression of the same grace and restoration that carried me through loss and into purpose. I move forward humbled and grateful, ready to extend that same grace to others through this work.
The Garlington Foundation is now stepping into the community with faith, focus, and a ridiculously positive belief in what can happen when service is led by love and guided by purpose.
